Lamborghini Gallardo vs 08 Cobalt ss/tc
ok guys, most of you will NOT believe me but i do have it in tape now and will post it up soon!
i just got back from street racing and this gallardo pulls in like he was king of the streets.... my friends go up to him and asked him to run a cobalt ss/tc(me), he giggled and said nop!
well my friend asked him if he was scared of loosing against a cobalt and everyone started lafing at him.... finally he said YES!.....
we are going down doing a 40mph roll and i did the 3 hunks... we raced from 40-130mph and i was half a car in front of him all the way!
so every cobalt ss/tc owner that has FULLY bolt ons and the trifecta infinite boost CAN beat a lambo!!!
my mods are:
Dejon SRI
Crazy Steve Intercooler
CIA charge pipping
CIA downpipe
Custom 3' full exhaust
Trifecta infinite boost tune (30psi stock turbo)
:c ssNET:
VIDEO IS UPLOADED!!!!

I call bs....

this video shows a 350z vs Lambo....the Z has 420~rwhp and stays half a car length ahead of the lambo. If your story is correct...your cobalt has 420fwhp....i call bs. If this actualy did happen and you did win...either A. the guy was playing with you or B. he really doesnt know how to drive and probably was shifting at 3000-4000rpm.

imm gonna go ahead and say either he wasnt trying or he absolutely coudnt drive for ****,
ive driven one of those and they are pretty damn fast,
not to mention 500+ hp. Im guessing you are making around 350 or so?
the cobalt may be a bit lighter, i think the gallardo weighs about 3,300lbs
\but thats not enough wieght to make up for the power difference

I'm gonna go ahead and look at some numbers instead of just outright calling BS like you tards...
Weight is in the vicinity of 3,400-3,500 lbs. Four-wheel drive and increased losses accordingly.
06 Gallardo dyno from some thread:
Horsepower @ wheels: 414.60
Torque @ wheels: 335.01
For the 04-05 non-SE's:
12.4 @ 118
490 bhp/510 tq
4.2 to 60
And I have seen several vids of them dyno'ing less than 400 whp, here's one doing less than 370 (poor conditions mind you) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyGXjgziG5M. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is possible. Who is running 12.1's on the stock turbo? That'd take a stock 04 G. See also: http://www.lamborghini-talk.com/vbfo...no-graph-1559/ where the following is posted:
That considered, and remember the weight, and if that TC can get traction...
Just some numbers since not everyone is entirely familiar with the Gallardo.

The "500" number is "SAE Net" ie at the flyweel with accesories (more like 493). Wayne is sharing his 2WD "Wheel" Horsepower ie normal 4WD HP was naturally even lower - I think 366 was stated.
Just some numbers since not everyone is entirely familiar with the Gallardo.
