Lamborghini Gallardo vs 08 Cobalt ss/tc
i disagree about maserati, not all are very fast... i know for a fact that a bolt on tc will pull buses on the mc12... i know this, i have seen this, you should all learn from this...
it takes a lot to beat a hi-end exotic. I built an RSX-s that my dads company sponsered just to see what I could do, bored and stroked 30 over, comptech supercharger, made close to 500hp. the power to weight plays a big role, and I could do it, but that was alot of mods to be able to do so, this is why it is not feasible for a stock 2.0 motor to be able to do so.

personally i think that high power set ups on fwd is a big fail

Masea? I assume you mean Maserati? Koss? I don't know what that is.. In a straight line I don't see why a stock cobalt motor can't beat one... Not the top end models.. but Some of test ferrari's and lambos run in the 12's.. Why are they invincible??? Some SS/TC's are running high 13's stock.. With full bolt-on's and an aggressive tune, there is no reason they couldn't be close or even win... All you really need is money.. a few grand would easily put a cobalt faster than a Lambo, you could easily say the same about a lambo... You could run 10's in a minivan if you wanted! What does it matter?
^^^ exactly... and when you go to dump money into a balt, sometime in the process you will be building the motor so with that said... a stock 2.0 would be crying if you didnt build it up...
shortstack... I have no shroud, I have seen and built and have seen the outcome... Ive touched anything from a 5 hp lawn mower motor to a built 1750hp motor to 3000+ turbine motors... theres alot of thing that can be done to a motor but to do it on a stock 2.0 I see many issues

Not doubting you or your experience, im just going by numbers...
We know that the gallardo will run mid 12s with an okay driver. We also know that a SS/TC with a kick ass tune can run high 12s with an okay driver. Just by going by what i have in front of me, there is no possible way for me to completely eliminate the chance of the cobalt winning.

i mean its only a gallardo... thats a baby lambo and has a low compression v8 so yeah theres a chance, ive beat one (not in a balt) but yeah like i said tho kicking its ass no, keeping up with it maybe... you put the baly in 4th vs the lambo good luck
That's the episode where Underground Performance was on there. And those 800whp cars were running a best of like low 11's, which is very weak.
