The reason we don't have a thread like this one, is because someone could just be posting **** from their ass. How do you know anyone is telling the truth, other than the ones that are in the official top ten? Guess what, you don't. I put the mod list there for a reason. So you what the **** they have done to achieve such a great time.

This thread and that TVS 1/4 and dyno thread is just a smack in my face for my efforts to keep the official threads updated.
I never meant it as a slap in your or anyone else's face.My frustration along with a lot of other people's is with the" What ******* mod should I do next" threads that pop up everyday. Most people just want to go faster and want to know what they need to do. Your official 1/4 mile list requires people to show proof, as it should, for the top10.Not everyone can post pics, or keep all the proof needed for the top 10 list. With the posts in this thread already, I think most people have a real good idea what does what. And if someone does post inaccurate or made up times,so what. There is no prize for the fastest Cobalt.I know how to figure if someone is lying or not about what their car can run,and so can you.Even a newb can see 10 posts of cars with similar mods around the same time, and 1 guy a whole lot faster, they can tell something is not right.I get your point about people lying and I thought about that before I started this thread with yours in mind.I don't have a pic of my time slip or a pic of my car number, does that mean it never happened? Most people that go to the track don't meet the requirements for your"official list".But it doesn't mean their experience at the track can't be helpful to others.I respect and appreciate what you have done and continue to do for the forum, but I see them both as important threads.Yours for info and competition, mine, for some lazy newb to see what it will take to run 12's without 10 new threads about it everyday.I hope you can see my point.

i understand what you're going for, but you gotta realize the same noobs who wont search for an answer to what mod he should do next also wont search for this thread. They have X mods, and want to know what to do next, and immediately ask, instead of searching for an answer. Its in their personality, and this thread wont change that. As such, i see this thread as a waste. Good intentions, but it wont change anything

I made this in a fit of frustration and out of a little curiosity too.I still believe 70% plus people who go to the track don't have the correct stuff for the official thread. There are stickies for intakes, tunes, and downpipes, there are still questions asked everyday about that too.I know it won't change anything, but I tried, and so far a bunch of people who aren't on the official list got a thread to share their times in,and in my mind, 500 new people who would have started new threads, and then read my thread, and didn't.

Dont worry his times dont look right any way. not even zzp is trapping 120mph on stock turbo. Only post that doesnt seem correct. Unless PTE2871r means some kind or turbo swap we dont know of. I call BS. I might be wrong though.

That's exactly what it means. Also, zzp could trap that if they pulled awful 60 foots.

Jesus... Tell the guy to get some tires then. All that power and no way to put it on the ground. 120mph can net you a high 11 in these cars. I want to see him on the top 10 ten LNF vs. LSJ

Lets get some more posts

Yep, a turbo swap Precision Turbo Engineering 2871r turbo, on 22psi with meth.... ON STREET tires, and stock clutch!

I had to baby it to launch, and feather it in to 2nd, and 3rd or the clutch would slip. But once it did it picked up like a freight train!

and that was at new england dragway to answer your question
its all good. was it really hot. i ran a 13.7 stock and i ran yesterday a 13.7. My car was not liking it. i tried no lifting shifting 1-2 and the car fell right on its race. I laucnched it at 3grand and it just bogged out of the hole.

got a question. I ran a 13.7@104 stock.
Now i am tuned made 302whp andd 339wtq. I am going 13.7@106 2.1 60ft.
What the hell am i doing wrong besideds the car was gettting way to much traction and it was falling on its face.

Superchips tune, K&N filter, Muffler Delete: 13.7 @ 105....2.21 60ft

Clearly Launching > me..I'll update this post with my current setup's time once I find time to get back o the track.

NOTE: All runs were done at the same, shitty, poorly prepped track that is Dragway 42...

I agree with bad 60 usually = a little better mph on the top end, Or atleast the same mph as with a good 60.
