LNF Cobalt Wins 2nd Straight SCCA Championship!
Kevin Fandozzi came to ZZP for a dyno tune in the summer of 2011. Later that year we watched him win his 1st SCCA T3 championship at the run-offs. The Sports Car Club of America Events
He also won driver of the year honors- Fandozzi Earns RRDC Mark Donohue Award
This year he came back for a little more aggressive tune. This past weekend he drove to his second straight championship in Wisconsin- The Sports Car Club of America - Fandozzi Win Touring 3 Title
The ZZP sticker fits right in on the hood, as well.

Here is a broadcast of Saturday's race: SpeedcastTV
T3 starts around 181 minutes in and runs to the end. The last couple laps are around 220 minutes.
Congrats to Kevin for a great job behind the wheel! We are proud to have our name on his car.

Thanks everyone. Kevin is a really nice guy and a great driver. His car moves pretty good, especially considering the restrictor they make them run on the turbo. The inlet opening to the turbo is tiny.
T3 cars are mainly stock. Stock intake, turbo, charge tubes, intercooler, etc... They also have a 38mm restrictor, meaning that all turbo inlet air has to pass through a 1.5" tube. Motor is completely stock. Tires are limited to 225mm width. They can only run certain suspension mods as well. The main mod to the car is the roll cage.

^^^what he said. they do the same to sthe solstices that use to tun in t2. wolvertons team(before leaving racing due to personal reasons) use to get pumled down the straights because of it but they were fastest through the turns. the restrictor is a joke and like matt said it reducses a lot.
we recently sponsered a world challenege solstice team.... same problem.... fastest car in the turns but no power in the straights when compared to other cars in its class and rumor has it if they win they get 150-200lbs ballast added for the next race. so we will see how it does.
good job guys
