I have a gentleman who would like to purchase my LDK takeout pistons and rods. When I was file fitting my rings on my Wiseco pistons I removed the top ring on my LDK piston/rod and used it to square the ring in the bore. When I went to re-install the ring, it was then I noticed the top factory piston ring has no witness mark or number stamped to identify top side, and from what I can see, even using a magnifying glass it appears rectangular and non directional. Ive tried looking at the other piston/rings, and unless I'm overlooking a small detail they go in either way. Is this the case on factory rings? I cant find anything to support my suspicion.........
