Lnf Pcm?

If i were to purchase another PCM from somewhere

And i have already tunes my stock one,

Does the dealership know that you have changed pcm's? In the event of needing warrenty work.

How does that work?

you should have already bought the pcm and tuned that. then put your stocker in when you go to the stealer. idk if you can do anything now. but you should have been prepared to pay to play

if your car breaks from modding it, man up and pay for it. don't be a little bitch and try to scam them for warranty work. any time someone makes a post like this it should be sent to all the local dealers. people like YOU make it hard to get legit warranty work done. I hate people that try to get over on this kind of thing. ******* losers.

Agreed...people that post these things should be required to post their VIN so the folks at GM that monitor these sites and instantly void their warranty...

Im sorry that you feel that way, but im tired of having my car in the shop...so maybe GM should man up and build better cars.

you bought a cheap econo-box, and if you researched before you bought you would have seen what you were getting in to. Doesn't make it right to scam them for warranty work. Not for nothing but if build quality was a concern of yours when you bought your car, you wouldn't have bought a cobalt.

pulling this **** makes you a loser and a thief.

uh you drive an 08, and now you said that, well we know where it goes from here.

BUT I agree, be honest when you bring your car in. You never know the dealer might actually appreciate that and give you a break.... further with honey than vinegar.

I don't care what you do. If you're cool with lying and scamming people, then enjoy life. But don't be all upset when it comes back to you later in life. Be honest with the dealer, you'd be surprised how far it gets you. I got a broken axle fixed under warranty with a 2.9 and other mods on the car, no questions asked.

It all started a month or 2 back

I had a leak on the drivers side valve cover, oil leaking from there. I figured it was just nothing. but i was told to watch it from a local shop.

Take it in tuesday. Show them the exact leak. They said ok cool and had the tech look at it. BTW they told me about 5 mins ago that the tech was new.

Turns out. they didnt even fix the leak i told them about, and they fix ANOTHER leak!

I had a leak on the oil pan. Some bolt came off and it was leaking oil. Had to replace that and get all new stuff around it.

So now when i open my hood, i still see the leak on the valve cover. I am pissed.
Show them AGAIn and they said the guy must have found that leak and thought it was the leak to be fixed. Obviously never looking from the top of the car!

So my car has been in the shop all week.

thank you man. I appreciate it.
As much as I love the car, I shouldn't have oil leaks @ 5500 miles. 2 separate ones at that

True...but that could happen with any car...you could have purchased an $80,000 BMW and had a oil leak...every manufacturing process has defects and sounds like you just got one of them...GM will take care of you...don't let it have a negative impact on how you view GM or Chevy...
