LNF powered track car

Elfin T5 Clubman

I searched here and didn't see anything about this so here you go . The T5 is powered by an LNF ,and weighs around 1700 lbs. They start showing a V8 car ....the LNF T5 starts at around 3 minutes in.

Yep lol . It's hard to spend that kind of money on a pure toy.

Roughly 62K here in the states? That's cheaper than a Z06...do you consider a Z06 just a toy?

Nope the Z06 is a lot more functional than the T5 lol. You can throw a set of clubs in the hatch .....then take the wife or girlie out for dinner with her hair intact . The T5 could never be a daily driver in my book but everyone has different priorities hehe.

Here is another video , it's the last one on the page. Looks like fun lol

my dads mechanic used to build the replicas... he has a red one with white stripes and white leather interior with white pen strips on the seams. its his show car, under the hood is even more gorgeous... he can pill out in all the gears lol... it's a 6 speed with some long gears... total toy haha but man i wish i could have him build me one.

Me too......without a doubt. The Atom is almost 500 lbs lighter and look cooler IMHO. Since they no longer offer the LSJ , the only engine available is either a Honda N/A or S/C . I'd love to see an LNF Atom.

Ha ha..an LNF atom...The newest addition to the Ariel Atom lineup will decimate ALL.

looks fun as hell... what's the fast 0-60 on a stock car? i want to say it was 1.3 seconds but i might be lying lol....

500bhp at a little under 3 seconds on that litte thing... something don't sound right... i guess it weights too little... they should put wider tires no it like 1ft or a foot and a half
looks hella fun to drive

Was just reading this.
Anybody know what ECM tuning they use on these LNF's? Clearly these things do not carry all the CAN controlled stuff of the Cobalt TC and that is my big issue for a future swap project...

I love the hams look, I've thought about a super 7 kit and using the miata as a donor, but I think I would get bored with it, after the initial toy car fever goes away
