LNF questions!

Looking to start going to the strip in my cobalt, and I have charging pipes, intake, mpx exhaust, and zzp downpipe, and about to have trifecta tune, wondering how much abuse my axles and tranny would take on an 1/8th mile track, should I use two step? Or no? Need some advice!

The axles in this car are tough, they are the size that you would usually find in a pick-up truck. The tranny is stout IMO as well. I have never had any issues at the track with the drivetrain. I would launch at about 2500 to start!

Don't your preload by using just the clutch to stage?

preload is when u get read, pull up ebrake, keep ur hand on it and let go of clutch a little so it wants to go but brake keeps it back, the stress is already on the axle so when u launch it doesnt hit all at once and snap.

when light goes green u drop brake and let go of clutch, but im sure u can do it without brake, as long as u dont move to much to get a red light
