LNF Rocker Arms?

So I have the car back to stock kinda atm. Stock charge pipe blew off yesterday and while the car was warming up today, i decided to put it back on and fix the clamp..

it was a cold start when i started working on it. and was on for about 10-15 minutes and about for 2-3 seconds I would hear knocking....

I only heard it about twice... Not sure why it was making the noises... Was not loud either...

Was trying to determine where the sound was coming from, but since the sound was so faint, and only there for a few seconds at a time, i could not determine where it was coming from. But it sounded like it was coming from my rocker arms... and it sounded like rocker arms too...

have any of you experienced issues with your stock rocker arms?

i'm a 2010 and i just hit 30k miles btw

I have read several threads where a few people have broken a couple of there rocker arms on there lnf's. If i remember correctly it was mostly caused by running high in the rpm range and or over reving past what the stock rev limiter was set at. Like a after market tune that allows you to rev past the stock 6300 - 6500 rpm. Say around 6600 or 6700 rpm. And then if i remember a few people broke there rocker arms.

Why did you return your car to stock? Are you getting ride of it? Or because of the noise ?

well heres a lil back round on mine, my motor was making a ticking noise every 5 seconds about, gm replaced all internals in the head but the rear cam shaft, and i go pick it up and still does it, im like its still there, brought another balt htere to compare after i made another apppontment, it was coming from the rear corner on #4 cylinder, in the end gm did a hole head replacement, and they tore the old head down again and still dint c anything, everythings fixed now tho, i do have a video around of the ticking

u can hear it at 4 and 7 seconds mainly

Possible your seal went in the timing chain tensioner. I forget who had that issue repeatedly! Maybe CudaJoe?
