LNF Valve Cover Vent lines.... Quick Question

Car: 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo

Im looking for some info about the size of the valve cover vent lines. Can anyone confirm the EFI Push on / Quick Connect fittings on the Valve cover, Air Intake and Turbo fittings are all 3/8" Male.

Im doing up an emission friendly catch can and want to make an easier way to remove the valve cover as well. This is what I have in mind of using.

Hey Tom, Its a catch can from a diesel engine. It has a built in filter that filters oil / oil vapours from the crankcase and redirects the now clean pressurized air back into the intake stream... WIN WIN, lol.

Seven posts and a troll looking to copy stuff. Already emailed me looking for a modified drain back. We dont sell individual parts of our kit to folks wishing to shortcut and do it on the cheap. How does that make folks feel who paid good money for complete kits?

I think most folks respect the value of what we have done here to stop/reduce DI valve coking. This is something I developed entirely myself, but with the valued assistance and support of members here. The time and expense was on my part, test feed back from Wangspeed, Loki, Qwikredline (lol) and a host of others.

If the OP wants to do his own thing more power to him, just dont troll here looking for the road map on the backs of paying customers. Figure it out for yourself OP.

Looking for a road map? No sir, just the size of the fittings. Im a fairly new cobalt owner and looking to make sure the car lasts long and run clean.

I understand you dont want to sell me a modified dipstick tube... No problem, but why make me look bad for asking? Im not "doing it on the cheap", infact Im using better parts than your kit. The fact that I wanted to use your dipstick tube should have been a compliment to you... Why do you feel disrespected?

Ive owned and raced very high horsepower turbo cars and crankcase ventilation is not new to me. I have come on here asking simple questions pertaining specifically to a Cobalt SS only because Im a new owner... I have not advertised negatively against your product or exposed what you are using (even though I know). I have respected your business and I only wanted to know a few things for my personal use. Why do you see me as a threat?

I understand that alot of members have good things to say about you and your business... Thats good and I hope you continue to live up to that but its not wise to keep attacking me and calling me names in an attempt to get others to disregard me. If you do, I will post up all I know and perhaps a DIY crankcase breather with better parts and alot cheaper than you. Correct me if Im wrong but this forum was dedicated to help others, not just help your pocket... Right? Use your influence in a positive manner my good man.

So lets shake hands and move on... Cool

Todd maybe you can explain off line to the OP how you did yours, which is on another planet compared to most systems, with a water seperator as well...

condensation appears to occur with metal catch cans and location/routing that contributes to that, or in areas with bad gasoline; China for example.

I have not seen it in my upgrade so far, after three winters no one has commented on it anyway. You would know more you have to be in the worst area in the world for moisture build up in winter lol
