looking to upgrade somethings...
i bought a 09 ss/tc back at the end of january and with my taxes coming back this week i want to spend some money on this finally.
basically i want to upgrade the downpipe, the charge piping, catback, the intake, and then get a tune at the end of all this.
what im trying to figure out is what people think are the best parts for each part im looking to upgrade.
i want to switch out the downpipe first, but been wondering what is the most reliable catted downpipe. just want one thatll go in nice and not throw any codes down the road, and obviously i need one with a cat.
after that i was going to do chargepiping and an intake. i have no interest in a cold air intake, dont feel like running it all the way down into the bumper, so i was going to go with the dejon intake and figuring just go with the dejon charge piping too. seems like there both pretty good deals price was, but is there anything crappy about the dejon charge piping?
the next thing on the list would be a catback. amazingly i really cant find much on catbacks for the ss/tc. what are guys running for catbacks on there ss/tcs? what do people feel are the better ones?
last thing would be the tune which i was planning on getting the trifecta considering how simple it is to install with the whole gt tuner thing. obviously doing this last so itll be better programmed with all the supporting mods ill already have on my car.
what do you guys think?

you wanna get charge piping, not for performance neccessarily but for reliability. i would put that up at the top of your list. Hahn and Clear Image Automotive have quality downpipes. Hahn is expensive but they have the DP so u can interchange between a high flow cat and catless. Dejon intake isn't bad, im running with their intake. Do you plan on putting an aftermarket BOV on, if so order the charge piping with the BOV flange welded on and then you order the intake with a recirculation fitting. Mandrel Exhaust Systems has "cheaper" exhaust systems with many options (2.5" or 3", aluminized or stainless, multiple muffler choices, or muffler delete.) Hahn has a fully polished exhaust but yet again expensive, janetty racing has one also. And yes wait til your all said and done, than get the tune. BUT don't expect any HP and TQ gains with the other parts until the tune. Heres my sticky from another forum im on:

wow thanks for all the info, answers all my questions.
i could care less for the bov. i figure like an overly loud an exhaust, its something i would get sick of hearing so much overtime. i know dejon has a replacement spring for the bpv which makes a little more noise if i really wanted it. only costs 10 bucks too.

By the way... here's the link for BSR to add to your list...
