make sure its not ur shoes or anything, mine made a dinging sound and found it was some wires i had run there that was hitting it when i pressed it. might be something like that.

My old Cobalt's clutch did this since day one. Haven't head it in the TC though. I figured it was just a squeaky joint somewhere on the clutch pedal.

Mine squeaks every so often. I confirmed it's not my shoes by pressing it down with my hand.

I get the squeak every once in a while too. My guess is that its probably normal and is most likely due to a squeaky joint for the clutch pedal, maybe because the car is still fairly new and not fully broken in yet. Hopefully it will go away with more mileage (I too have low mileage around 3000) otherwise it might be time to bust out the lube .

Yeah mine squeaked, all it needs is lubrication and you will be fine and it will stop doing it

mine does it too... I just sprayed some lube on it and its good to go.

My bigger problem is some heat shield or some **** under the car rattling up a storm

See, my old 06' 2.4L Cobalt never did this. It never squeeked... But my 09' SS/TC started at like 3,000 miles & is still squeeking at 4,300 miles. I'm not worried about it though.......

have you noticed it squeaking when it rains out?? if so its normal. My car, my friends current cobalt and her old one all do it. Water gets up and it gets wet and just squeaks a little but it doesn't affect it at all performance wise. seems kinda cheap i was flipping out too but its nothing to worry about just try and see if its usually happening when its raining.

I think it is just because it is plastic and flexes a bit...mine did this for a while and I kept forgetting to lubricate it...then it just went away and has not returned...just wait it out or get a little bit of lubrication up there...
