loss of top end power with gms1

i have noticed that the power seems to drop off considerably as i reach the higher rpms. i am wanting to retain the warranty so my question is will a intake and/or a catted or catless dp help?. i know i would obviously have to remove them for any warranty work, but i seem to be reading mixed results. or is there anything else i could do? some ppl say adding parts with a gms1 will not produce any power but other ppl say it will. thanks for any input.

That's the way that tune is setup. Adding more parts will increase power slightly but it will still trail off around 6k similarly.

Buy a spare VCM and get a custom tune loaded on it. Then save your factory GMS1 VCM for going to the dealer
