simple question that has been blowing around the site for a year or so now is this needed when running a BOV?

im upgrading to the treadstone stage 4
3 inch exaust
hks BOV
dejon short ram
dejon uppercharge pipes
treadstone TR12 intercooler
and will be hp tuned (375 whp)

do i need to upgrade my lower charge pipe to one with the MAF relocate?



also is there any other things i should be upgrading to run this kit properly

Yes you need a maf relocate to do it properly... But you don't have to..... Also what turbo you plan on getting?

 

You don't have to if you want to recirculate the BOV to the intake (which is what I would do).

 

Theoretically, yes you need to relocate or recirculate. Practically no you don't in my experience of 25,000 miles on a Solstice GXP. This is because the computer reads the wideband O2 sensor and adjusts fuel so fast that it is rarely a problem. Occasionally I get a pop from excess fuel. Since only a re-tune will allow you to get any horsepower increase, I recommend a Trifecta tune to turn off the 2263 error code, and get more power RIGHT NOW! Since he gives free tune changes for life at no additional cost, you can try not relocating and change later if you don't like it. BTW we sell Trifecta tunes.
