Are you talking about the lower?? I dont plan on running a bov.. And thank you! Most help so far!

Prolly going with this... Silver ICE

Yes. If you plan to run a BOV with stock turbo, you need to get a MAF relocate to the lower CP. That would be, in my opinion, the only reason to replace the lower. If you dont plan on running a BOV, then you can just buy a lower charge pipe without maf relocate.

I am planning on running the Treadstone Kit, I think it looks awesome and is decently priced.

I have always heard negative things about running a BOV on our stock turbo.

Yeah, its not really needed. Its more of a sound mod than anything else. you can tune for it and it works fine.

its a tricky color!!! day time people say it looks candy red, at night it looks maroon. its wild lol.

So just to be sure, the upper charge pipe on dejonpowerhouse is $139 for the upper IC pipe, correct? THATS ALL I NEED FOR UPPER PIPING?

I am so lost about ordering from Dejon lol. is it $130 for upper and $49 for the elbow to connect to the turbo?

cause they have a "upper 3 piece set" for $249 but looks like its the upper and lower in the picture lol

their upper includes the 3 pieces in the pic. Its the elbow, the top pipe that lays horizontal and then the pipe that connects the horizontal pipe to the intercooler. should actually read "hotside piping"

yeah took me a while to figure it out lol. So upper is $249 for Dejon, as to ZZP is $199 ... hmmmm extra $50 worth it for the powder coated pipes? I think would look awesome, but I know ZZP makes GREAT products

i believe zzp does the horizontal and vertical piece as one and you reuse some couplers

So is ZZP "better" than Dejon? cause I plan on getting ZZP intercooler and lower charge pipes later. Just liked Dejon due to the powder coating option and think my engine bay would look clean

Honestly...when it comes to chargepipes..they are pretty much the same as far as being "better". The only thing that comes into play is fitment. I have owned two sets of Dejons. The one i installed didn't have fitment issues. The set that came on my 2nd cobalt rubbed on the hood a little. I currently own Treadstones kit and love it (looks exactly like ZZP's minus the logo). Since you are eventually going to go to ZZP IC and Lower pipe...i would just get the ZZP upper. You wont be dissappointed. And if the color situation is really bothering you, you can use the 50 bucks you save by going with ZZP to go get it custom painted or powdercoated

Injen is a good option too. Just ordered mine from mpx along with the couplers and shipped to the house for $220. I didn't wanna go zzp route and spend an extra $70 for extra couplers, but dejon is kind of overpriced in my opinion because of the customs powder coating and that it has a bov flange welded in it no matter what. If you aren't going to run a bov, injen is another option you may look into. eBay has them for $180 shipped.

i hate how dejon pipes just sit there without bolting to anything.. zzp, injen, and my custom charge pipes all bolt down to something up top.. without it, its super flimzy feeling
