Lowering Springs

So i'm in a toss up between what set of springs to get. I'd like to get the best bang for the buck, price is not an issue. I'd like a nice stance/drop, but don't want to sacrifice a huge drop for lack of handling etc.

What is the best spring for the SS/TC..

Sportlines?
Progress?
Pedders?

Any input is welcome, i need help deciding! Also, this car is my DD.

Pedders are the best handling spring out there, but I have had the SSC springs and they drop a decent amount and ride as close to stock as you will find or so I thought when I had them, and plan to purchase another set soon.

If price is not an issue...

if you wanna go the cheap route and get only springs pedders.......its been proven to be the only spring other then the pro kit that improves handeling. but even the pro kits rates arent as good as the pedders...

your only other solution for awesome handeling would be to get coilovers. which in my opinion stance is the only good brand that is made for under 1400. otherwise anze, peneske, ohlins are by far the greatest and will costs somewhere between 4k and 8k

Well thats the route i'm going. Never planned on getting coilovers, out of my range. But reading the Pedders sale thread, and another thread, it seems like they are well worth the money, and whatnot.

I wish OTTP would message me back regarding Canadian orders, i want to order ASAP.

Should i buy rack spacers too, is it worth the money? Also, sway bars, whats the best one available, or would i really need one?

I personally like the Sportlines. Don't care for the Progress at all. Haven't met anyone with the Pedders.

Sportlines look sick, i agree. I love the look of your car from the pic on your profile on the lookoff Jerren.

I just would rather have something that handles a bit better then people say the sportlines do... I'd rather drop it a bit and have a good handle on it, then drop it a lot, and have none.

Pedders wont drop the car much at all, if I want a nice drop that doesnt sacrifice handling, I would go with SSC springs, they have close to stock spring rates so handling stays the same but you get a nice drop.

Anybody who says the Sportlines sacrifice handling aren't very intelligent. My car felt like she wanted to go faster in and out of corners then on the stock springs. I also feel much more confident in the car with the Sportlines. They really don't sacrifice any handling. If anything they're the same or better.

I second that.... My car handles perfect with sportlines as my only suspension mod.

Those sit the best IMO but they're much too low if you live outside of California, Hawaii, or Florida.

-True handling (better)
-Better stance, the gap in the rear is a little higher then the front(eibach's are the other way around)
-You will have a better quality ride, not as bumpy

lmao, you think the Sportlines are bumpy!?!? They ride just fine! If you want a luxury ride buy a luxury car. Also, the gap on sportlines is quite even. I hate having a bigger gap in the rear.

Okay 1st off

YES they are bumpy as ****!!!!! its not opinion its fact shared by many.

2...

what i mean about the gap with sportlines is...

it looks stupid to have a inverted stance, where the front of you car is higher then the back...

and for the sake of a future argument..all is my honest opinion after countless pages/hours of reading, thousands of miles driven on eibachs. and countless talks with experienced users and vendors.

Im not saying there a bad spring, They suit a individuals tastes....

Maybe you should also write a letter to your local Road commission complaining about the roads? I've never thought they were a very rough ride.
