LSD question
LSD question
ok so i know in a lot of 240sx cars they weld they diff. so they spin both tires...thats what they call a cheap LSD... my question is would this work for our car or just because its FWD it wont work?
i don't think i'd do that. you might get wheel bind while turning. the lsd allows the tires to still turn at different speeds, but transfers power to the wheel with the most traction.
have fun steering if you do. Strictly Drag Maybe LOL
Even they will have trouble crazy wheel hop throught corners unless you drift every one.. front wheel drive that meens not turning....

Just stick witht he stock LSD and get some wider stickier tires, if you still can't hook up run a drag radial or a slick.
No, no, a thousand times no!!!! It will not work properly if you try to do that to a fwd car. It will not steer properly. You can get away with welding up the spider gears on a rwd car because the rear wheels do not have to steer the car. The inside rear tire will always slip a little though as the outside rear tire rotates faster than the inside rear tire when you turn. Differentials are there for a reason.
