You can't always hear the hissing with the bumper cover on, though. Sometimes, you even have to get the soapy water (Snoop) after it.

I will try it again but I was under car and couldn't see anything or hear. But I'll try again. Sounds like the boost pressure is coming out the ass of the turbo. And I get a chatter noise on hard accel. Chirp noise happens and boost flutters.

Do you have the soldered GMS1 sensors?

Dont see a leak. Holds 20psi in the system and doesnt drop any psi over 30minutes. pretty sure its holding pressure. could it be boost solenoid of some sort ?

The system isn't air-tight, so there's no way it can hold 20psi of pressure. I don't understand what you mean, here.

i made the boost leak tester in the other thread. put it on the top of the hotside cooler pipe. hooked air compressor to it, cauase my regulator is broken, i just put 25psi in the compressor. then hooked it up to the boost leak jig. once it hooked up it filled the system with pressure, and didnt drop on the compressor. nor was their hissing from any of the clamp areas.

Ah. You need to have a working regulator on your compressor so that it isn't running while you're trying to hear leaks on your car.

filled compressor to 25psi. turned off compressor so it is dead quiet. then hooked up air line to fitting on boost jigger so there is no noise.

I get you, now. I guess we can move on from boost leak, then. Pull your lower TMAP and see if it's oily.

If you have stock sensors, they should be blue/green. If you have GMS1 sensors, they should be black.

Well, that's the EVAP code and will cause random boost issues, so replace the EVAP vent valve and the EVAP solenoid and see if that helps.

MAF codes can be caused by any vac leak. You had a code for the vent valve so I would say it's worth a shot

installed new purge solenoid and vent valve. valve required me to buy a new harness because they changed the valve and connector. erased codes, see how it goes, so much snow out cant get car out.
