Just thought I would poke my head in, and post up what I did today. I always see the debates between the TurboXS and a couple other companies.. and I just wanted to put this out there. I have had magnaflow exhausts on my last 3 cars, and have always been happy with them for both sound and performance, as well as price.

Sedan FTW!!! Sounds pretty good I gotta figure out what catback root I want to go. I still like the sound of my stock catback with my catless DP. I dont wanna kill my stock catback tho and id like a little more turbo spoole sound coming out the back.

No driving clips yet. Im going to wait till the snow clears and I can wash the car before throwing it on the bumper. THen I will get a few clips. Hopefully soon!

 

It sounds good but it would be too quiet for me.

 

I prefer a more subtle exhaust since its a sedan and doesnt attract the attention of the police yet, as well as keeping it closer to sleeper status. At wide open under boost it does sound pretty aggressive, but still nowhere near the MPX or the TurboXS ones... which is what i was trying to get away from. I am pretty happy with it, and only posted the clip to offer an option to people who were looking for a clean, yet more subtle exhaust sound.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the way it sounds. I just like my cars loud. Right now I'm still on the stock cat back with a muffler delete and a cat less downpipe.

 

That is what I had as well up till a few days ago. My only real issue with that, is the splitting sound and the raspy nature of the idle/WOT sound. Wasnt my style. But I will admit, that sound did turn quite a few heads on some cruises.....

 

Is this just 3" piping with a Magnaflow muffler? Or is it the legit full catback kit from Magnaflow (Magnaflow part number 16875)? The tip doesn't look the same as what was posted in this thread:

No sir. I called Mag directly to get an idea of when those were going to be produced, and they had no ETA. There wasnt enough vendor interest. So, since I am a vendor myself, I just got the part numbers for all the pieces and put it together myself. This way, I could change up the tip to a style I liked better.

 

So it essentially is the full catback, just with a better looking tip (IMO).

Do you still have the list of part numbers? I've always been interested in getting the full catback Magnaflow exhaust for the SS/TC, but when they finally released the kit a few months ago, I was disappointed in the oval style tip. I would prefer a round tip like what you have.

Also, you say you are a vendor for Magnaflow? Want to pm me what company/contact info, as if I decide to get it I would probably order through you since you're Canadian !

 

There r a few driving videos on YouTube of this exhaust on a tc driving, I think it sounds the best of every exhaust uv heard on the tc, more aggressive sound instead of that tuner sound if u know what I mean. Only issue is, it's double the price of most cat backs out there for our car

 

I have a Hahn exhaust (which uses a very similar Magnaflow design), but I’ve installed Magnaflow mufflers on many different cars and love the sound. They do a great job at removing exhaust rasp which is my top annoyance when you start trying to remove exhaust restriction.
