Make sure you get a 5x8x14 case size. Very good deep sounding muffler. Not too loud but very healthy when you get on it.

if you have a tc dont waste your money, i have one on my car right now and it sounds *****...i mean its got OK sound out of it but no where near the sound of the sc but you have to remember the turbo limits the sound so unless you have a good CAI dont waste your money on the exhaust...someone is fabing me a pipe kit so i can make a CAI and i ordered a DP with 02bung so when that comes in im gonna install that and take that muffler off and run a straight pipe thru and have bad ass sound that way. and my magnaflow will be for sale

After you get this done, would you let me know if the magnaflow replacement is center in/out or if, and what offset is required for a factory fit?

the guy told me its center in and out. i told him i didnt want to deal with having it on the sides cause of the back lip. and im keeping the stock tip on it so i want it to look as stock as possible so its still a sleeper but i will let you know everything tomorow morning.

I have the Synapse DP. Since I installed it, my car now sounds like a pissed off hornet. I love the little rumble in between shifts, but it's just ricey under hard acceleration. Looking to make it quieter. Already have another resonator on the way. If that's not enough, I'll put a quiet muffler on it. I've got high hopes that the resonator will take care of it though.

Hey guys got the muffler done today. it sounds badass. its not much louder but its got a really nice pur to it at idle and its really deep. the inlet is offset and outlet is center and i had them put the stock tip back on with the stock 2.5" piping so no restrictions and right before the muffler after the axle the piping shrinks to 2.25" so i had him cut the stock muffler there to keep 2.5" all the way through. it sounds really good and came out to more than i expected. i threw it some revs tonight and there is a lot more backfire and sounds really clean and bassy. when i hit redline reving it it gave a really nice loud pop and it almost sounds like you could here the by pass valve through the back its sick and i also have an intake on. ill try to get some videos tomorow i couldnt do it tonight unfortunately cause it was raining but im happy. 135 dollars well spent.

If you're looking for sound, the DP will not dissapoint you. I got that resonator I was talking about installed last night. With the Synapse DP, 28" magnaflow resonator (yes, it's 28" long), and the stock muffler, the car's still a good bit louder than stock.

It sounds pretty good dude. it would have sounded better if you'd have gotten the 5x8x14 muffler instead of the 4x9x14 you have. Sounds good tho!!
