Mechanical Boost Gauge 2010 TC

Can anyone tell me where I 'T' my guage line into the car?

I have everything installed and just need to know where I would tap into so it can get its mechanical pressure reading.

Its been a real headache searching and googling this, as 'cobalt' is a brand of boost gauge lol

Spend 20min so far trying to figure out something pretty simple.

Someone please help!!

T the line straight off the top of the intake manifold by the by pass valve solenoid. Also why do you need a mechanical boost gauge? Your factory one should be more than enough if you're still on the stock turbo.

Well a few reasons:

1. I love the digital speed, pretty much keep it on that screen exclusively. I have an eye condition where I see doubles in my left eye, and having the big digital speedometer to the right up high in my peripheral vision is really nice.

2. The digital boost gauge as far as I know becomes fairly useless and inaccurate once I finally get my car tuned.

3. Mechnical boost gauges look sweet, and are practical for later when I get my car tuned =)

4. Got a good deal on the unit im installing.

Just to clarify can you tell me what # number in this picture you are referring to exactly. I just want to be sure.

And this thread will be useful for people searching for this later... thanks! The picture is uploaded to my facebook - set as "only me" and should be hosted forever. Love facebook for free image hosting! LOL

"T" off of the line you have circled as #1 directly off of the manifold.
