mechanical bypass valve code help

I've pulled this code a few times occasionally in the past. Took it into the dealer and they said that it looks like the part was replaced by an aftermarket part that might be adjustable? Is that a thing?

It used to do it maybe once or twice a month, but I drove it to and from the Outer Banks and now it does it every day. I am still making full boost (approx 18 psi), even hen the light comes on. Any advice as to what this may be? I bought the car used and have already had a few other issues with modifications.

Also, is this going to hurt my car if I continue to drive with this issue?

First what's the code it throws, second, what bpv or bov valve do u have? If there is one on the upper charge pipe it's a bov and I'd say go back to a stock bpv . If there is non on there look on the turbo. U should see it on there it will be beige or silver. Of it's beige the dealer is bsing u and u may just need to replace it, if it's silver, check if it has vent holes going around the circumference of it, if it does then it's a forge atmospheric bpv and I'd say just replace it with stock or with forge non atmospheric bpv. If it doesn't have the vent holes , take it off, u screw it and take it apart and lube the piston with synthetic grease and reinstall. See if that works for ya

Could also just be the bpv solenoid. What's the code

Forge valve for sure sounds like it's a non atmospheric valve if it doesn't have holes. Try living the piston.
