Metal shavings?

Poped the cupholder out to clean it and below it was a small pile of metal shavings under the shifter..wtf? lol this cant be a good sign

yeah? whats metal in your factory shifter that would leave shavings hmmm????

dont think swapping shifters will fix that problem. Sounds like they either were there since the factory put them together or the shifter cables are losing metal which would be wierd.
