Meth
Meth
Just want to get a sense to how people are enjoying their meth setups on these new turbo cobalts.
What advantages in power will I gain after a meth kit?
I have a Trifecta/HP combo tuned full bolt-on TC.
I would also like to know how difficult the install, (what to do) and what is the best kit to buy?

One thing about meth is you will get addicted on the first try. And you end up looking like a hooker that blows dogs for quarters... Ohhhh not the drug...
In all honesty check out the devil's own website they are pretty good. I have a snow kit that has been "slightly" modified on my diesel suburban that works good, but I doubt you will have the room for a 20 gallon tank in a balt (I use the ol girl to tow with).
I have had good luck with devil's own on some of my friends rides... Audi, VW, and Mazda. They have instructions and alot of other info on their website.
Meth helps in 2 ways... #1 meth is flammable and therefore can help with combustion in your motor... #2, and probably more important, it cools the intake air charge allowing more air to get stuffed into the cylinders thereby allowing you to use more fuel to create more power. You will most certainly need a tune after a meth mod.

I went with snow performance also... here are some things I learned...
1.) Doesn't really matter which kit you go with... they each have their advantages/disadvantages...
2.) Make sure you have a flow gauge or you option for a flow gauge for the meth - you don't really need a real time programmable controller (this is a separate item from the progressive controller that comes with the kit) just a flow gauge for your initial set up
3.) Start with a 175 ml/min nozzle (shouldn't need more than that)
4.) Go for a trunk mounted kit. There is no place in the engine bay for anything larger than about 1qt
5.) Depending on the kit you get, you may want to invest in something that reads various sensors. For example, snow runs off of the MAF Hz... so I use my dashDAQ to monitor the Hz and my boost so that I can dial it in properly (yes for the sstc there is a direct correlation between psi and your MAF Hz).
6.) Find a good (reliable quality) supply of meth before you start out. This is extremely important. A lot of people just throw whatever into their system (i.e. windshield washer fluid) and try to get by on the cheap. Not a good idea. You want to make sure that there isn't a lot of variability in your meth once you tune for it. Meth is expensive to ship so be prepared for high shipping and handling charges if you order it as is. Basically you will pay double the cost to actually ship it. I started out with boost juice from snow. This is a good quality product. While dialing in your meth you will chew through quite a bit so order a lot up front and then figure out how much you need afterwards (I have gone through 1.5 gallons and I am still not 100% dialed in). I actually found a drum supplier so I am going to go that route.
So far I have had reasonable success with my kit. Snow performance technical assistance has been great. They are very knowledgeable about our cars and took the time out to answer my questions over the phone. I started out with a nozzle that was too big (big mistake) but now I am at the point where I am working out the kinks. Vince has been successful in tuning for the meth and I am extremely happy with the work he has done. I am hoping to have some new dyno charts in a couple of weeks...
If you have any additional questions, please let me know. Keep in mind that I can only relate my experience with the snow kit though....
