Hey , I just recieved a devils own progressive meth system, the kind that uses a vaccum/boost source on controler to activate it. Which boost source (08 turbo) to I run it off of? Thanks!

 

I recommend pulling boost directly from the intake manifold so the controller has an accurate reading of boost in the intake. If you pull boost from the charge tube, then the meth can activate when there is not much boost in the intake in part throttle situations.

It's maf based and I need boost referance one and don't wanna pay for one. So I'm gonna figure out a way to use it like it is. Maybe just use it with a switch so I can spray when I want. Just for dune buggy, pretty much only way around here I can get anything better then 94 octane fuel , and I'm technically supposed to be running 100 octane since its turboed, but that's with the non inter cooled kit that is sold for it, I did my own inter cooler so I can run 94, would still like higher octane stuff for safety sake though.

 

Why don't you want to run MAF based control?

 

cause my buggy is not fuel injected, got a carb and has no ecu or maf or anything to hook it in to . all I got is boost.

so u got any ideas matt? I know ill be able to rig something up if I think about it for awhile. probably just not use a controller. just will have full spray or no spray
