METH Injection

Thinking of adding Meth injection to my setup

Other mods are listed in my Sig

Im liking the Devils Own progressive kit

What are you guys thinking of going with Meth? Where are you putting the Nozzle?

How easily can BYT tune for this via HPT?

Lots of good mounting locations to keep it away from the eyes at a dealer?

Thanks

Yes meth will help you out. Tuning for meth is like anything else if they can tune for it. If you plan on taking it i for warranty work and are worried about them seeing it. that won't happen lol

Inject it just after the IC outlet in the lower CP. 3 gph or 5 gph nozzle depending on your setup. BYT can prob tune the 5 gph for you ok. Ask him, he's tuned others.

I like the AEM trunk mount or if you are going to use the washer fluid tank the Devil's Own looks good.

As long as your MAF is in the K&N intake location, I don't see any problems. I can't spray meth in the lower CP as my MAF is right ahead of the TB and would get soaked.

I would think you can tap a nozzle into the hard plastic of the stock lower CP. I'd epoxy the sucker also though. Won't be as close to the outlet of the IC, but it'll work. The reason it's best to keep it as close to the outlet of the IC as possible is to give the spray time to mix & disperse into the airstream so all 4 cyls see the same mix.

I'm sure BYT will answer you better when he sees this thread, but I can assure you that he will be able to tap into the stock lower charge piping with no issues.

You can hide it OK but if the dealer looks in there they will likely see it. I wouldn't plan on doing this and then also plan on bringing it in for warranty work. You can always mount the nozzle on the bottom side of the lower CP so you can insert a plug and remove the line when bringing it in, then hope for the best lol.

Easy to tune for If you do remove it to goto the dealer, just flash the no meth file back to the car and you're set. OR Stock file lol.

Would it be best to run an aftermarket lower metal pipe?

Cause i already have to swap out my Map Sensors to take it to the dealer so i could leave the stock plastic one ready to swap back in

Can get a CIA one for a really good price and then just swap back my stock one for the dealer?

Any issues with the CIA pipe?

Lower CP isn't really needed but since you have to remove the stock one it wouldn't hurt to replace it at the sametime! I would just skip the Maf Relocate unless you buy a Maf mount and mount it yourself to allow proper distance from the Meth nozzle!

It is going to depend heavily on the quality of the gasoline used to begin with (octane level and percentage ethanol) and the tune (boost level, timing, A/F, etc) itself but 15-20 whp normally.

Went ahead and got that CIA lower pipe so i can leave my stocker alone

Better to thread into metal then plastic also

15-20 WHP is definitely worth the cost of the kit and the cooling affect is also nice
