Meth users! A question!

Hey guys. I have a metallic lower Hahn charge pipe. I'm getting ready to get it powder coated. Are you guys using a bung or is screwing right into the metal Acceptable?

IMO, if you havent had it powdercoated yet I would weld a bung in for it over just tapping the metal. Just my opinion though.

I have a spacer, however, OP is talking about a welded in bung.
Welding in a bung > Spacer > drill and tap

Anyone know anybody who makes spacers with meth ports? Or can anyone tell me where you're getting the bungs from?

Spacer will give you much better results. If you tap the boost tube do it as close to the tb as possible.

I agree with Riceburner..... Adding it right to the intake manifold, and maybe a dual sprayer... here is why

I know the older hahn piping was made of steel, steel rust.. Meth/water makes it rust faster, Also, the powercoating on the inside will start peeling... ASK ME HOW I KNOW.....

Depending on how you have it set to spray, some of it will end up hitting the TB plate and when you let off, it will drip down into the intercooler

The intake mainfold is thick enought to drill and tap... Ill be doing that in a few weeks once i get all the parts for the dual sprayer.....

Take it off the car he says. No **** sherlock

I cleaned it with soap and water, seafoam, it still had shavings in it. I tried to get them out the best i could. No issues so far so no damage was done. Just dont like it. Im gonna have to tap it again twice too. One to add a larger fitting for my -4 vacuum line and one for meth

Try cleaning it better before you start? Its not that hard just take your time and do it right I wouldn't leave any shavings behind and risk it. I remember last year I pulled mine for the first had it spotless in under 45min brake clean or carb cleaner go a long ways
