Mods?
Hey all,
Out of curiousity (and for future knowledge) i am wanting to know what would be some top or favorite mods for performance for a stock 2008 LNF for a $2500 dollar budget. my goal is to have full bolt ons (with exception of bigger turbo) intake, exhaust, DP,IC CP, Tune...and i would like to lower it a few inches as well. And i know some parts dont intermingle with other mods (ex...certain intakes with certain tunes) so any advice on that some recomendations of brands and their prices, that would be great! Thanks

These are just some examples:
Trifecta tune- $350
ZZP dp-$220
Big Steve IC-$250
Injen CP-$220ish
Airbox mod-$5
Custom exhaust-$400 (if its more than that, the muffler shop is jewish)
Thats $1445, so send me the other $1055 lol.

and by Big Steve IC...is that the same as Crazy Steve? if so i've heard they are kinda overkill for a stock turbo...causing pressure drops. True?
Man I'm retarded, I meant Crazy Steve. I've heard nothing but good comments about it. As far as Hahn goes, you'll hear diff. things from diff people. i think their exhaust is too quiet and overpriced. Intake wise, the best mod seems to be doing the airbox mod from what I've heard and experienced. Charge piping I haven't really heard any complaints about any brands that make them, maybe someone else on here can give a little more insight.
Add pedders springs to that list for your drop.
Hahn seems to be unjustifiably expensive. Injen is a good company.
Wheel hop is a killer so also add solid motor mount and rotated trans mounts to your list unless you like snapping axles.

I had the dejon intake and my car ran a little jerky, def had the pssh sound though, all intakes will give you that sound. The airbox mod sounds good IMO, even better with k&n filter. I don't know jack about mounts, my buddy has them in his ss/sc and it rides terrible so I'll go w/out.
Personally I have TTR Mounts and polly bushings $190 and $50
OTTP sells replacement trans mounts rather than just bushings but those are $205
The polly bushings from TTR will do just fine. They're a great vendor.

A million threads/posts about this (search)but I think you're on the right track. These cars are quick on bolt-ons and a tune. Go with Trifecta! I'll be re-tuning with them soon.
Austinss has some good info for ya...use the rest of your money for a coilover kit or good springs.
