I didn't think Hahn had the upgrade kit yet. I was just on their site like 2 days ago and it said it was still in development.

Don't forget to do a full 3in exhaust and DP too...and maybe bigger intercooler

I think you should save your cash on the deployment and come back to do the work yourself. Bigger turbo has my vote. The Synapse 2871R or 3071R swap would be where my money would go.

like i said he's a friend and a GM tech so he wont charge me like out the ass and plus i wont be able to do the work on my own anyways i dnt have those types of tools and he does.

my mods right now are:

Hahn IC Piping
Hahn CoolRam Intake
BPV Spring
Greddy Turbo Timer
B&M Shortend Short Throw Shifter (i had it cut to be even smaller and shorter throws)
3" Catless DP (which i want to swap out for a catted one)
Tuned
and a few other things i cant think of right now

Basically im add on to the limit already besides a bigger IC which i will get when i get the turbo

Go with a GT28 and a 75-100 shot of nitrous. We don't have the fuel system to support anything bigger than a GT28 properly yet.

Do some research before you start spending money on it.

Not anywhere near the fuel availiable to support a 2871 with a 100 shot. That would likely be a disaster. I am almost out of fuel with my stock turbo. In fact my injector pulse width is about 5.8-5.9 mS at 6500 and up.

Wet shot.

Extra injector needed I guess. 400 whp is about the most the stock fuel pump and injectors can handle so yes no matter how large the turbo most are right at 380-400 whp.

You do not need an extra injector with a wet shot. The stock low pressure fuel pump has worked out with over 500 whp so far. The high pressure pump/injectors/ecm is the limit so far. A wet shot gets around all of those limits as long as you don't spray over 20% or so of the total fuel used in the manifold. When you spray too much fuel in the manifold it does some weird things with the direct injection. So far, a 100 shot with around 500 total hp has shown to be the sweet spot.

strange that someone on solstice forums was putting down 600 whp with a 300 shot of nitrous .. yes i said it 300 shot is what they finally blew on

if theres all those issues right.. im mean it's not possible no way .. he must've divided by 0.... and marcus yes i'm agreeing with you lol

I know of the person you speak of, and you can run as big of a shot as you want. But, when you inject more than 20% or so of the total fuel used into the intake you get some weird results with direct injection.

Some type of fueling solution will be needed. No one has released anything yet for our engine however. What ever you do will need be be custom.

A good tuner, a wet shot, and brains.

That is insane to have as much nitrous HP as you have engine HP IMHO.

You want to talk about huge surge of nearly uncontrollable power that is nuts.

That would just be nuts....and it would hit like you have been rear ended by a freight train...be kind of scary when the surge hits in

The scariest thing ever for me was a Ysi powered Mustang I went for a ride in a few years ago which runs 8's on slicks..little under 1000hp in a 2800 pound car....truly scary as a passenger for the 2 seconds he would give it throttle at a time....now THAT was surge

But it gets to a point where it is way too much for the street...
