Mpx Catch Can

Well I was going to buy a catch can and was just doing some research and a few posts says to install it on the valve cover line to turbo but mpx says install it on the pcv line from the valve cover to the intake? Wondering which one is best.

Thanks

Your best bet is the Powel oil separator unit. The MPX does nothing but look pretty in your engine bay.

My car came with that catch can. So far in 2k miles I have seen zero accumulation in the site glass.

The line from intake to valve cover is the fresh air inlet. There is no possible way for oil to accumulate in that line. The line from VC to turbo is the vent during boost and up until powell's latest iteration is the line that his separator uses.

That one, plus he said he's grabbing the IM port as well somehow.

Catch cans do not work unless you have engine issues. Powell uses crank case pressure to force air through his system.

They both do. I have no clue which is worse though.

The one connected from the valve cover to the turbo does. The one on the intake has a check valve on it so air can only be sucked into the engine, it doesn't push air out. Not to many people realize that the pcv fitting in the intake manifold also causes oil to get into the intake over time. Idk if u can do anything about that though. But ya with Powell system the oil from the vent port definitely gets routed back into the oil pan, my pipes are always spotless after that mod
