i have a 08 turbo cobalt ss and if i get the catless down pipe from mpx will it throw the light

 

I ran my MPx catless for about 150mi before I tuned for it, not a code at all, that was with the defouler also.

By no means can I guarantee you will not throw a code, but the chances are less with the defouler. The sound and performance pickup well out way the cons in my opinion. If and aftermarket tune is not in the plans for you look into running a single high flow cat instead.

apparently you just have to be lucky to not throw a code unles you get a tune. ive heard the hahn catless is the best at not throwing codes, but that dp is way overpriced. some ppl have had success with the megan racing dp and a defouler

 

How do you like the sound of the catless dp? Do you have the mpx catback as well?

 

I'm on stock exhaust, and I LOVE IT, at idle and just driving in traffic and next to cops, it's quite, just a wet fart louder than stock, but under WOT it's loud.

I ran my SS/TC with ZZP 3" Catless DP earlier this past July with GMS1 and have not thrown one CEL. Its either a hit or miss. The CEL will not harm performance if it kicks on. You can get o2 sensor disabled from a tune, unless you don't mind the CEL being on. ZZP makes great products, especially the DP's.
