Muffler vs no muffler. Stock dp, no tune.

It sounds good. Drones a little on the highway, but nothing unbearable. Would you like a sound clip?

OK, here's a short vid from a while ago when I had my MD. It's just cold start up and a few revs, but hopefully it will help. I don't have any vids of the drone, but it wasn't nothing I couldn't stand. Most people didn't even notice it, just me.

Prob not stainless.. I learned my lesson taking the cheap route on exhaust didn't last one winter with salt. I had a small resonator put in where the muffler was with stainless and stock tailpipe.

That it does, I just don't like the gurgle. I might put a resonator on the rear for a little less gurgle.

i love the gurgle half the reason i wanna do this haha

Edit: just called a local shop to see what the damage would be on this... they wont even do it at our midas here they said it wont pass my MVI without a muffler where i live i knew that a muffler was required however i was led to believe that anything that impedes exhaust flow is a muffler so was thinkin the turbo would be considered a muffler ? guess now... how do SRT4 guys get safety inspected i wonder...

I've called carx, meineke, and midas, all estimating around 70-100 dollars (via phone). 60ish for labor, I call bull****.

I suspect less when I bring the car in for them to take a look at it, but I'm afraid that when they see a teenager pull in they're raise the price a bit...
