Smile My Stock Dyno Run

So I went to my local Performance shop where a buddy of mine works to get my stock base numbers

The car is 1 month old with just over 2500 miles on the odometer. Bare bones stock right form the factory floor. I was told when I got there that the Dyno is very conservative and can read low... but i just wanted a starting point to see my progression as mods are added.

3 Pulls and we got 227 WHP and 224 WTQ. All were very consistent with each other and barely changed any more than 2 HP and TQ. The AFR starts off pretty lean in these cars and then gets really rich. Can't wait to get a down pipe and tune which is next on my list. That should hold me over until next spring/summer where I will add something else....

So here are some pics of what I ran and a little video that i made. Enjoy!

Nice and persistent, mine made almost identical numbers on a similar powerdyne mustang dyno. Now get some mods done and redyno.

Keep at it. SMG motoring is near you and does custom tunes. They are in Hopedale I think. I saw a bone stock lnf go there and gain 60whp out of a tune.

I worked in Sterling /leominster on the line on the powerlines for a while. The job right now is in Greenfield but we are wroking our way back towards worcester then to leominster.

Mustang Dyno's seem to run low.

And I was told this particular one reads especially low. I was told I'm probably closer to 235.

nice numbers, I have a DynoDynamics near me and our number are nearly identical. I agree , stay with the same dyno for your modding, that is the only way to get consistancy. Dynos are just tools , not prooving grounds.

If all other manufacturer's read "low" (Mustang, dyno dynamics, Dynomite) and similar. Makes one wonder if it's "actually more".

Nor Dynomite.
Stock whp is about 210 for the kappa and 225 for the fwd chassis on mine.
