Don't you have a warranty? Just take it to the dealer already.

To be honest I know what the bypass valve is but I do not know where it is .. is it that cream-colored cap thing to the left of the turbo?

If you're worried about them finding a tune you shouldn't have done it. To be honest it sounds like theres something bigger going on but at this rate I doubt you're going to find it with the help of the people on here.

^ hello, good morning. do i have to ask? also, cobe, if you dont know what your looking for, let the ppl that have been to school check it out. if u got money for a new intercooler if u needed one, u have the cash to let a dealer check the car out if u dont have a warrenty. atleast they can figure out whats wrong for you.

Somebody else on this site had a similar noise. It was a piece of plastic that came off his intake and went into the turbo compressor wheel, then caused the wheel to hit the compressor housing.

I drove my car to practice... I had too.. and i got there and popped the hood... my intake wasnt even hot it was cold as normal. My car doesnt boost it just sounds like the turbo wheel is spinning inside the turbo... Videos and pictures of tear down are uploading to photobucket now.. They will be up later tonight.. Going to take SRI and bypass valve apart and check it out..

why not just take the car to a local shop, get them to tell you whats wrong and then decide if you wanna go to the dealer or pay to fix it yourself.

i didnt read the whole thread way to annoying seeing you complain and others rip a hole in ur gouch?(cant spell that word please no one **** on me too....) but were you beating on the car on the way home before the dirt road? did you **** with the car at all within the last 48 hours, do a mod or anything that could cause something to **** up?

Cobe, it would really b in your best interest to have a professional diagnose your car, preferably someone familiar with the lnf. If you don't know where the bypass valve is even located then u really have no business diagnosing the car. Im a tech and hate having to fix other people's **** ups, but they end up paying for it in the end. Save ur time and $.

But if you insist, I could use a few more laughs. Proceed

that sound is odd.you can hear the sucking when the tb opens. then the following sound is so strange. i dont really hear the turbo spool at all. maybe some thing is in the housing keeping the turbine from spinning.?? have u pulled ur intake half and observed the turbine and inspected it?

That's the only bolt on I didn't take off cause I checked all the hoses and connections to and from it and how good it was on the turbo.. Everything looked fine

My intake isn't even warm after a 15 min drive ... Like literally my Sri is as warm as it is when I haven't started the car for the day..

When it whistles like that it sounds like the bpv is pretty well gone, but the whirring sounds like the turbo is gone.
