Unhappy Need help, cel

Hello, I am in need of some help, my 2008 Cobalt SS/TC has a P0100 code (MAF) thats been on for over a month now. A few problems that have occurred are hard start( when turning over engine gets stuck in very low RPM's and sounds terrible), Occasionally it wont hit boost( unplugged battery for 20 or so mins boost has returned however CEL still present. My car also loves to "pop" while shifting out of 1st. The previous owner said he replaced the MAF sensor at a dealership. I took it out and cleaned it and it does appear to be new. iv been reading threw some other threads and people have been saying it could be something as simple as oil from the filter (witch the car does have a new filter) to anything like boost leak or cracked inter-cooler. my car is bone stock (stock tune as well) please help me fix this problem so i can throw my money into other parts
Thanks for taking the time to read, i will update how things are going and if any new CEL come up and also how your suggestions went with solving my problem.

Boost leak. See sig. Also could be EVAP valve. Consult YouTube.

I have the same problem. My cel says : p0101(maf) & p0299 (low boost/underboost). I have no idea what it could be but my car is going to be checked on Monday at the dealership. I'll see what happens.

Make sure your dealership is experienced with the turbo Cobalts. If they are not, they will make more of a mess of things. Also, if you have any mods at all they'll just blame all your problems on those and send you on your way.
