ok. so i had the same situation as sherm420. and i got the parts the next day as well. but question. what order does the nipple go? there is a tapered part and little tiny one and a bolt. any help?

ya i didnt know what order either...but the way it made most sense is put the little one on big one then slide them both thru the bolt making the bolt air tight pretty much...dunno if i did it right but its working lol

yeah i just installed it. it works fine, im just worried about the nipple thing cause it just slides on. im afraid it will fall off

ya as long as u jam that **** on there it should be straight, how u like that sound difference? so much better huh

hey so until you got the part what did you do with breather hose I have the intake capped off so is ok to just let the hose sit there till the part comes

the part came before i installed it. it came in 2 days

hey sherm420. After you installed the intake, did your car when you start it up kinda putter a little bit at idle? mine has done it a couple times. i dont know if thats normal. i checked to make sure everything is tight n ****. so i dont know

and i did some research on it everyone said I will be fine to run it which makes sense as long as I cap off the intake side the only difference is it does not suck filtered air however it does not take that much air in the first place

ya it started to whistle real loud then it sputtered a lil bi then she was good! pretty sure its normal just the car noticing its breathing finally

Mine did that when I put my intake on too. It is just the ECM relearning the fuel trims at idle. I noticed evertime I add a mod to my car it runs like crap for the first 100 miles then once the ECM relearns it runs normal.

on cold start mine always sputters a bit well it did atleast hehe but yeah ever since i put my home made intake on it has sputterd but it settles down once it gets to normal idleing RPMs
