Alright today my car started acting very weird. When i sit in neutral and let my car idle is sounds as if it was cammed. It goes up and down like its reving itself and i have a check engine light on. I have no idea what could be causing this and when i go to knock and watch the spark it goes from 0-20 constantly while sitting in neutral. Also when i stopped and pulled over i saw my charge piping on my turbo was off and im not sure if this would cause anything. The temp is around 10F or so

 

My guess would be thats probably your problem...

 

but it never threw a check engine light when this happened before.

 

Find out what the cel is for

 

Maybe u didn't tighten the charge pipe some time ago

 

idk if i want to take the risk of driving it that far with it doin this.

 

From those symptoms I kinda have a slight idea of what it "could" be but first find out what the cel is for before I give u my $0.02

just because you dont have a code doesn't mean somethings wrong, but yea, fix your piping.

 

Re attach the CP and then reset the VCM to clear the BS trim data from the pipe coming off.
