Need New IC and Your Help, Please.

I bottomed-out the front end of the Balt on a steep driveway the other day, and it broke the bottom piece (not sure of the technical part name) of the IC; which, in turn, busted the passenger-side plastic end cap of my IC. My car is at the shop now, and I'm waiting on them to tell me I need a new IC.

Rather than replacing with OEM, I was thinking of ordering a ZZP IC. My question is, will the stock charge piping fit the ZZP IC? I've read that it does and it doesn't on here, so I was hoping I could get a definitive answer. If it does not, do you guys recommend getting the silicon hoses offered with the IC.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The ZZP intercooler sits lower than your stock one. If you broke that one, You'll probably break the ZZP one as well. You gotta be more careful dude.

I'm buying it today, so if we could get it done now, that would work. How many people do they typically want for a group buy?

Here's the hang, in case you wanted to know. I've never had an issue with scraping.

Wait, you're tuned, running stock piping and you have a bigger intercooler...

You're begging to pop something.

lolwut?

The only thing I would be concerned about in the least is the possibility of cracking the stock CP. And that's rare in intself. If the couplers are attached correctly with the updated clamps or he has T-Bolt clamps, nothing should pop off.

That's just the rubber factory air-dam that bolts on under the radiator.

It just scoops up air to the radiator. You should have one. All Cobalts have them from the factory.

If you want a intercooler that wont get destroyed by curbs and parking stops, then the MPx is the best choice.

They have been extremely popular lately and we have been out of stock for weeks. But, we just got a small batch in today, and have a few left!
