I can respect the SRT's ability to make lots of power and torque with little $ ,but a performance vehicle according to my preference has to do more than just go fast in a straight and NOT look like a mini sport SUV..

How do you know if my car is ugly? All you would be seeing is my back bumper anyways!

The CSRT has the neon SRT4 stage 3 turbo stock.

wait so is this for a caliber srt4 or a cobalt ss/tc?

if it's for a caliber, then this **** should be in the lounge or something.

I agree.

But it is important to note that a catless DP made the same HP/TQ as one w/ a 300 cell count cat. Negligable difference...

The only real gain is a little TQ from going catless ( a whopping 1 w/tq! )

You guys are starting to catch on. Youd only want the cat if you have inspections or whatever.

I think you're both misunderstanding what I'm saying. I think it is intelligent to have a cat w/ the DP, and this proves yet again that the power difference is negligible. Most states, at least, visually inspect for a cat if they're not hooking up to the PCM to read codes. There's no point to not run a cat nowadays...

I totally agree...

People still have the mindset that cats restrict your exhaust so much (which they did when they first became law)...they don't! The new cats hardly restrict the exhaust compared to a straight pipe...

I'd rather just stay legal and sacrifice the 1 HP...

I wish I could edit it so instead of 30 it said "WARNING: DANGER TO INTAKE MANIFOLD"

Hehe, its funny u mention that. I guess DCR pushed the CSRT4 to some rediculous horsepower well over 400. They ended up killing the intake manifold by doing that.

Well since you said they blew it up, yes I am. There are certain levels of impressive, blowing up a plastic/composite intake isn't nearly as impressive as blowing up a metal one.

If true thats what we call shitty/cheap engineering.

Normal Cobalts have plastic intakes, but the LNF has cast aluminum intake.
