New found Problems!

So, this happened Yesterday, out of no where the car just lost all Boost, I took the car to Advance Auto for a code check and two codes came up! P2088 and P0245.
P0245 is the wastegate solenoid so I took it apart but everything looked normal and fairly new....

P2088 is the camshaft position actuator, for this I took the car to the dealer and under warranted they replace the actuator, clear the codes and I drove the car off...(it was raining cats and dogs so I dint have a chance to test it so I went home)...several hours later I test the car and **** still the same...The cam phaser diagram (Pc) shows no data!...look at pic..

This is how the car feels while driving it and I try to put in on boost.

I'm taking the car back to the dealer in the morning....

If I remember correctly the wastegate solenoid is the little black box thing with the 3 ports that connects to the stock wastegate and is bolted to the turbo. Its not the wastegate itself.

You can see it here...

The cam thing I have no experience with so I'll let someone else chime in on that one.

You won't read cam angles if your cam position sensor is bad as well.

So, I took the car to the dealer this morning and spent there almost the hole day, replaced both camshaft position actuator and the crankshaft sensor...

GM part# 12646784 and 12646783

But even after, the P2088 code is still there, and the RPD unit still shows no data....WTH???

Dealer says that the wastegate actuator is bad and that's why I'm not reading any boost, but they wont get unto that nor replace it cause of my bigger Turbo......I looked up the price for the actuator wastegate and its $250 ponies.....Woooo... Any Ideas?

Okay, the actuator is different than the solenoid. The actuator is the wg itself. If the rpd is not READING boost then you probably have a bad MAP sensor. Does the car boost at all and it just doesn't show up on the rpd?

So, I double check all the hoses, couplers..all checked out good, cleaned the connection to the crankshaft sensor, rechecked the wirring to the camshaft position actuator and one of them seems to be squashed from one side but it appears good none the less. I unplugged the wastegate solenoid and took the car to advance auto for a code checked after I reset the pc and got (P0243,P0034,P0010,P0013) and the pcm keeps saying codes pending for the same codes...... going to plug the solenoid back and check for fuses.....

Thanks for the help so far Ramon (Racelabs), I appreciate you taking time even though is after work hours....

Not related to that fuse.

Odds are one of your VVT solenoids shorted and popped the fuse, but when they replaced it they never bothered to check the fuse.
