It's fairly easy... Just follow the instructions that come with it and you'll be fine..

Instructions don't come with it, they can be found at the k&n website.

The install is super easy. I was impressed with how well it fit!

Get ready for some weird noises and whistles, haha. I love mine!

Lol that's exactly what I did. I've got the K&N SRI & Forge BPV just sitting in my basement waiting for the snow to melt before I put them on (hopefully April).

You won't be dissapointed. You can really hear it whine after the install. Plus it opens up the intake more...look at the plastic one you pull out of there where it goes through the hole down into the front bumper. The pipe litereally becomes flat.

Congrats on the intake OP I am sure you'll enjoy it!
How does it compare sound wise to dejons sri? Both I know are obnoxious sounding but was wondering what the K & N owners had to say?

Tune first. It sounds bassackwards, but you'll be so satisfied with it that it will last you a year before you need anything else.

GMS1 is also on my "short-term" list. I don't want to hijack this thread with what "I" want to do though....just looking for insight on the K&N once 1SLOLT1 installs

Definitely will let you know with the pics and video.....will take before and after vids with my HD camcorder for sound and also try to see if I notice a difference in power.

I think my next mods will be charge piping and cat back then Trifecta Selectable Tune
