that is what i paid for my hahn, they were both the same price at the time..................in retrospect, if I new the hahn came with a K&N filter (before I bought it) I would have just bought the K&N lmao

 

When you first start your car its gonna sound like a super vacum...lol. Sounds awesome tho...i like the sound of the stock bpv. The car gonna take a lil time to remap itself...so dont drive off on a cold start or a real cold start for a couple days. But enjoy bro!

 

my car made a LOUD sucking sound for several seconds on cold starts after intake was put on, then heard a PSSSHHHH then more sucking followed by PSSSHHHH then normal sounds.
Since I was tuned, I no longer have that "suck"sound

Well I took stock vids today before install then I installed intake and couldn't be more happier its nice and loud and I can definitely hear the BPV. I will take after vids tomorrow and post up!! I bought the intake from filtersandintakes.com free shipping!

 

I love the loud sucking sound followed by the psssshhhhh. I turn my radio to low just to hear it sometimes. Hope mine doesnt go away when i get my tune !.

 

Just like my car when I am getting road head and then she spits. There is no psshhh when she swallows though.

 

I have my K&N but justg havent put it on yet cause im waiting to put it on when i get my downpipe and kinda do a install day and get retuned on march 12th. but m getting kinda anxious and want to put it on if i put it on now and drove it til march 12th would it hurt anything? any cels?

 

No the k&n doesnt skew trims nearly as much as other intakes. As long as you have the cone placement correct you will be fine. I have had mine on for maybe 2 months with no problems.

 

What do you mean cone placement? Install seems like a breeze dont think i could mess it up lol.

 

It is very easy. On the cone theres a silver strip, just make sure that it is pointing in the 12:00-2:00 position and youll be fine. Dont ask me why that matters. Lol

Can you feel any performance gains with just the intake (not tuned) or just a more aggressive sound?

 

I haven't driven the car much its been raining bad so no traction I do notice sound is awesome! I will let you know its supposed to clear up today I will get after videos soon.
