I have both cars!
My 03 Cobra with a ported Eaton plus a few goodies.
best 1/4 to date is 11.67 @ 122.xx and Mosport 1.35.18
My 09 SS/TC stock.
best 1/4 to date is 14.xx @ 104 and Mosport 1.40.69
Both great cars and I would hate to pick one, but if I have to pick a daily driver my vote is on the SS/TC. Maybe I am just getting old
The Cobra handles great on the track with a few tweaks, I won my class in the 2005 Canadian Solosprint Championship with the Cobra btw. It is NOT as easy as the SS/TC to drive fast though and will scare the crap out of most drivers at the limit.
For a cruise down town in light traffic and maybe a rip through the 1/4 mile is where the Cobra shines.

What suspension mods are needed to get a Cobra to pull 1G in the skidpad? I know it's a bit heavier than the Cobalt but you can put much bigger rubber on them too. Maybe some adjustable coilovers, SF connectors and strut tower braces to tie it all in?
