New Update Injen LNF Items Inside!

Just in from Injen:

Car is still here… working on a Downpipe and an exhaust too. I don’t have a release date yet.

The intake made 13.4hp and with the IC pipe we hit a max of 16.2hp w/ 18.71ft.lbs @4500 RPM

So an intake and the charge tubes made a 16.2HP/18.7 lbs torque more, on a stock LNF!

Looks like another downpipe and exhaust will also be available also soon

Yeah, the improvements were BEFORE peak hp. how much did they add to the peak since that's what the Johnny Ricers will want to know.

Now there will be people thinking 260+intake =276

We will have to wait until they release the data sheets.

Also keep in mind a more broad power increase over a large RPM, is MUCH better than a quick spike on the top.

You have to look at the area increase under the curve.... compared to the stock curve....

Did they give you an update on a release date?

edit: I see that is says no update on a release date. Was that for the intake or the dp?

I agree, don't just go adding 13 to 260

I would like to see the dyno graph and see where the 13hp was made over the stock line.

but interesting numbers anyway

They stated:
max of 16.2hp w/ 18.71ft.lbs @4500 RPM

Also lets not start another bashing thread, members complain we dont have any support, and when manufactures do make a product members complain (to expensive, not enough power, etc)...

That is for everything, so we would hope soon after the first of the year.

Put it this way, when we purchase intakes from Injen (or most all other manufactures) it takes us 1-2 months to get them in stock here....

It takes longer than most members think to manufacture, as they are not building just 1 item, but 1,000...

Stock vs Injen products only.

Injen designs around stock, they dont sell tunes, nor does AEM, K&N, etc.

Bingo, they can only get so much improvement. Allows for whatever the stock setup allows.

Yes, but I'm thinking they put it on, & dynoed it really quick before it started to pull boost/timing.

Already stated Injen, K&N, AEM, Fujita, does not tune engines.... They use a 100% stock setup.

If it *was* and it does do it, it would be the same with EVERY other product on the market for this engine, exhaust, downpipe, intake, charge tubes, etc....

the stock computer only pulls it back down if its making over 260hp and 260trq

if there are gains before that then better for us

Not true, it has a programmed limitation in all rpm ranges, in all load tables.

I can occasionally feel it hesitating throughout the RPM's when I'm WOT, it's seeing how much boost to make...
