Why is that, based on your sig you are good to go.

To Aaron:

Thanks for keeping us up to date. There are so many people eagerly waiting for a cold air intake. Any news at this point is a blessing, because prior to SEMA we didn't have squat!

If you get the stage 1 kit that deletes the learn down then a cai would have a consistent power increase.

It doesnt delete the learnback, it just increases its allowed range. I've been speaking with GM about it, and am very familiar with the Irmscher tune they will be using.

In both the threads that the GM reps posted in they said that the learn down was disabled and instead it would only back off to protect the turbo from going overspeed?

I think really we are going to need to wait and see some results with the GM flash to see what happens. Too many conflicting reports.

You are correct on the production calibration. The Power Upgrade basically turns off the learn down feature and is tuned to protect the turbo from overspeed. Therefore, if you add something to make the engine breath better this kit will keep the horse power gains that part made. There is no specific set boost level.

Sorry, I can not give out any information on future products.
not what the guy making the kit said
