I just learned that Tial Sport has a Alpha Q recitrculation valve and was wondering how long it has been out, anyone know?

 

that's the same one BTF is going to use for the GT30R kit

 

So will these Alpha Q bolt onto the SS/TC?

 

they won't "bolt on" but yes they will work. you would need a block off plate for the stock recirc and then new hot side piping with an Alpha Q flange

 

wont this throw codes though?

 

AFAIK, the Alpha Q isnt availible yet. I could be wrong, I havent tried to buy one lately.

THe Tial Q has been availible for a few months now so maybe they have them(the alpha's) in production finally.

yea i saw it on the site and thought it would be perfect for our cars since to run the standard atmospheric you have to move the maf and that stuff. it looks like a nice set up, cant wait to get a sound clip when one is installed.

you don't need to move the MAF to run a BOV, take a look at boostking's setup, HKS SSQ, stock turbo

 

oh thats cool the only one ive seen had the maf moved and all this weird stuff.

 

So when is this block off plate gonna be available? Me and my Brother installed one on his SRT-4 a few months back, it was just 3 screws and that was it, very easy install and now that PSSHH sound is loud.

 

yea good question, because if this won't throw a code then i am installing the dejon intercooler piping with a BOV flange for that new Tial Alpha and putting a block off plate on the stock BOV
