how many people actually use the nls feature i always forget to

 

Only if I'm racing and generally, I never NLS 1-2 since I'm tuned.. too afraid of breaking something.

 

i have still never used it. about to try it out soon.

 

Almost every time I drive 1-> 2 isnt the best, I usually do it to early and bog down, but 2->3 and up to 5 are all fun

 

well i heard that u shoudnt do it going into 5th and also that it only lets u use d nls at a certain rpm like over 5500

 

i use it almost everyday. dont do 1 to 2nd cause i end up just spinning all of 1st and all of 2nd that way. but i do do 2 to 3 and 3 to 4. miss 2-3 sometimes though

 

Why does everyone say dont NLS going into 5th? What makes it any different from the other gears. Its just a harder shift other than that I dont see a problem.

 

If I'm on a country road or something just messing around...I try not to very often because to get up to 5500+ rpm your pretty much guaranteed to be going over the speed limit which isn't always cool.

2-3 shift is pretty awesome though. Especially with a passenger that's not familiar with the car.

I doubt very many people have tried, just because of the speed you would have to be going. I know I haven't.

 

Probably because you have to be going damn fast to do it. I've tried NLS a few times, but I suck at it and need to get better at shifting quickly the normal way first.

 

I NLS every gear every day! Mainly 4-5th and reverse to first.

lol this guy with a srt4 i raced the other day was like NLS is the same as powershiftng and double clucthing you can do it on everycar i just started laughing

Probably the coolest thing I have ever done in my life haha

 

I do it at the track. I just did the no lift into 5th yesterday, ended up with a bunch of big bugs stuck in every tiny gap in the front end, not fun to clean out.

I think it would be funny to have the pink hello kitty tc, just to beat people, how bad would it be to lose to a car that looks like that lol

 

I have not used NLS on 1-2 since my tune but I do 2-3 all the time on on-ramps with no problems.
