Well didnt expect to have to consider building so early after only owning the car a month but my connecting rods decided to pack up and leave third day into my purchase of the car. So heres the start of my build a 2010 cobalt ss turbo k and n intake, zzp catless dp, gms1, straight exhaust, other stuff im sure once i start tearing it apart ill find but for now thats all i can remember since cars been on dealers hoist pretty much since i bought it.

Contacted zzp and unfortunely since its ill timed cannot go with the racing block as I had wanted, so now im waiting 4-6 weeks for there $1400 built shortblock. May spring for upgraded rods and pistons when they come in.

If my head is bad does anyone know any budget efficient setups? I can get a head from zzp bare bones for like 150 our built missing two parts i swap from mine for 300.

 

If your building just go with there ported head and stg 2 cams for like 2200 not to bad for everything that it is imo
