No fuel filter?
The other day I went to the dealership to buy a new air filter and fuel filter since I have 25,000 miles on my TC.
I was surpirsed, they had to order my air filter because the the LNF's have a re-enforced structure so it will not distort under suction. Kinda interesting as the filter you will buy from the the autoparts will the same 2.0 or 2.2.
Then I was surprised again a there is no listing for a fuel filter.

Will your K&N cause your engine to fail? No but after 100,000 miles I would think the cylinder walls would be more pristine if the engine had a more restrictive, paper filter.

I don't want a K&N at the moment. K&N flows more air meaning more dirt. Its an air FILTER. If you put a K&N up to the light you can see through it.

Kinda like people doing disc brake upgrades. In 5 years you need rotors and pads... Its alot easier going to Autozone to ask for pads and rotors for 2000 corvette than ordering parts, hoping they are still around and instock. ( I know it doesn't work on a cobalt but many people use corvettes brakes on camaros, chevelles, novas, etc)
