ever since I got tuned NLS is worthless between 1-2 but 2-3 and 3-4 it is great with no ill effects.

Don't worry it's not like the NLS and Launch Control on our cars is like the 08 Nissan GTR Launch Control:

you guys NLS'ing while tuned are ticking time bombs.

It's not a matter of IF, it's a matter of WHEN

I wonder if most of the guys blowing their trannies on an NLS have the limited slip...??? Would it make a difference at all?

Be honest, was it a clean NLS or was it botched? I just dont hear about this happening to too many people. I know wanted has commented on seeing blown trannies on like 4 cars I think?

YES

The plastic cup with connects the shifter to the shift linkage cable breaks at a high rate on the SS/TC vehicles. Most likely because of the NLS and you throw harder and faster (heh) when trying to perform one.
I have nothing to say about the engine/trans for doing a NLS however, as I think the NLS shouldn't damage them.

I have no issues NLSing from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th, but I don't dare do it from 1st to 2nd. Stock the 1st to 2nd NLS was pretty violent. Now that I'm tuned? No freaking way. Havn't had any other problem with my 08. I get a misfire code on a low tank of gas, and the blower moter on my fan is taking a ****.

And I abuse the **** outta my car when it's at the track. Any other day I just put around town enjoying my 29mpg ^-^

3+ years NLSing on an LNF, tuned for over a year now. Zero issues.

Tuned for about 15000 kms and no issues here. The 1st - 2nd shift is hard at times but everything else goes in like butter. One thing that I can guarantee is that people slam the shifter like they're driving a 1000 hp drag car hence the snapped linkages. There is no need to yank the **** out of the shifter, a nice light but firm pull/push is all that is needed.
